Adv Slysken S. Makando

Adv Slysken Sekiso Makando founded the practice as Adv S.S. Makando Chambers on 5 March 2017 and led its incorporation as S.S. Makando Inc. in 2024.

With 32 years of post-admission experience spanning the High and Supreme Courts of Namibia, he is widely recognised as one of the leading legal minds in Namibia and South Africa. His practice combines senior criminal prosecution and private defence experience with commercial, constitutional and civil litigation.

He leads the firm's partner-led model: every instruction receives his direct oversight, from early risk assessment to trial advocacy before the superior courts.
